National City and Barbasol Present Miracles & Magic to Benefit
A Kid Again
Ohio’s top variety show to be held April 3-4, 2009

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Miracles & Magic, Ohio’s top variety show of comedy, magic and grand illusion, will hit the stage April 3 and 4 in Columbus, Ohio. Now in its seventh year, the show benefits A Kid Again, formerly Adventures For Wish Kids, which provides on-going group activities for children with life threatening illnesses and their families.

Magic, comedy and martinis come together on Friday, April 3 for the Opening Night Party of Miracles & Magic. The fundraising event will take place at Martini Park at Easton Town Center. Guests will enjoy an intimate atmosphere of fine food, drinks and up-close and interactive illusions. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

In addition, two matinee performances featuring the world’s top magical, comedy and grand-illusion talent will be held Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Both matinee performances will be held at the Capitol Theatre in the Vern Riffe Center.

“A Kid Again is very grateful for the marvelous support that our children receive from Miracles & Magic,” Jeffrey Damron, C.E.O of A Kid Again, said. “Two amazing things happen at Miracles & Magic. First, it is the only event for the kids we invite the public to enjoy with us. Second, it is a remarkable fundraiser that generates much needed funds to provide even more adventures fun throughout the year!”

Headlining the 2009 Miracles & Magic benefit show is Dana Daniels, award winning magician from Los Angeles, California, who was named Stage Magician of the Year at the famed Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. Kerry Pollock, of Las Vegas, Nevada, a comedy-magician and inventor, will also make a grand performance on the main stage. In addition, Jon Petz, a corporate speaker, comedy-magical entertainer and 19-year veteran of national and international stages from Columbus, Ohio, will return as the show’s producer and performer.

“This event has quickly grown to be one of the top variety shows in the country and I’m thrilled we can produce it here in Columbus where the support is tremendous,” Jon Petz, producer of Miracles & Magic, said. “My wife and I are thrilled to be able to raise money for some amazing children while providing them an opportunity to enjoy an incredible experience that they would not otherwise be able to see.”
