Success isn’t measured by how much wealth you have accumulated or the title of your position. It is more about how much you’ve grown and matured as an individual. The latter seems hard to measure, but its satisfaction last longer. That’s why most event speakers, keynote speakers, and motivational speakers never get tired of reiterating the importance of execution more than the planning itself.
If you don’t know whether to excuse or execute, the following are three simple motivational tips you should live by:
Not tomorrow, but NOW!
What’s stopping you from achieving your goals? Is it external factors? Or is it just yourself? Sometimes, we think that we have all the time in the world, that we no longer value the importance of time. Well, don’t wait for the right moment, because it will only leave you hanging and worse, might even make you lose chances and opportunities.
Always set your mind that everyday is the perfect time to do what you have and want to do.
Start SMALL
As the adage goes, “the journey to a thousand miles begins with one step.” Everything starts by having the courage to move forward. The first step is always the hardest, but once you’ve conquered that stage, everything else will follow.
Again, with proper mindset, what seems to be impossible can be possible.
REPEAT
Don’t stop moving!
There’s no such thing as perfect, which means you should never cease to improve yourself. Be happy if you fail at times. Use failure as a motivating factor to push you to work harder next time. Failure should give you a better perspective on how you can polish yourself and become the person you dream of.
Give your 100% best shot in all that you do and never mind uncertainties. What matters is that you push your luck and give it a try. It’s much better to say “I made a mistake, okay, I’ll try it again”, than live with “regrets” and “what ifs”. Questions left unanswered will haunt you for the rest of your life.
